HICKORY, N.C. - Carson-Newman track team had a strong performance Saturday at the Power Sox Invitational in Hickory N.C. Both men and women teams finished in the top ten in different events.
Carson-Newman track and field has added two new graduate assistants to its coaching staff for the 2013 season. Samantha McConeghey from Johnston, Iowa and Kristen Campbell from will be assisting head coach David Needs and coach Whitney Lee this spring semester.
The 2013 Carson-Newman track and field teams displayed a solid performance at the Tiger Indoor Invitational, Saturday in Sewanee, Tenn. in the Eagles opening meet of the year.
