2017-2018: Potts-Howard fought through an injury-riddled outdoor season following a stellar indoor season in which he was named the South Atlantic Conference Athlete of the year after collecting top-four finishes in three different events. He holds a school record as a member of the 4x400 last season (3:24.73)...USTFCCA All-Academic winner...USTFCCA All-Region Selection in long jump

2016-17

Potts-Howard comes off a sophomore season in which he qualified for the 2017 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships in which he competed in the long jump. The Tennessee native marked a 6.99 meter length and collected a 13th place finish. 

During his sophomore campaign, he recorded personal-bests in both the long and triple jumps at the Tennessee Rust Buster. At the showcase, Potts-Howard tallied a second-place jump of 7.44 meters in the long jump to propel him into second-place in the Carson-Newman record books. Later in the day, the sophomore placed eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.56 meters. Following the impressive weekend, Potts-Howard reeled in his first-career SAC Field Athlete of the Week honors.Known as a triple jumper coming into the season, grew into a legit long jumping threat throughout the region while posting three marks exceeding the 7.20 meter mark on the year. 
 
Prior to the national announcement, Potts-Howard reeled in his first Southeast Region honor as the sophomore was named to the postseason team for both the long and triple jumps. The 2017 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships was the first national stage event of the sophomore’s career.

 

2015-16: Competed in seven meets as a true freshman while competing in three five events throughout the year… Tallied six top-10 finishes on the year which includes fourth-place showing in the 4X400 meter relay at the South Atlantic Conference Championships with a 3:21.17 time… The four events Potts-Howard competed in at the SAC Championships were the men’s 4X400 meter relay, 200m. 400m and triple jump…
