Bio
HIGH SCHOOL: Won the Tennessee State Championship in the pole vault as a member of the L&N STEM Academy track & field team. Also a member of the Gryphons diving team.
PERSONAL: Son of Debbie Bretscher & Nathen Bretscher. Comes from an athletic family where mother Debbie was a member of the Ohio State diving team, winning a national championship in 1981. She was also a member of the US National Diving Team. Father Nathen was a member of the Ohio State swim team. Brother James was a swimmer at NC State and is an assistant coach of the Marshall University swim team. Sister Laura ran cross country and competed in track & field at the University of Tennessee. Brother Paul is a US National Team trampolinist. Sister Emily won a Big Ten championship in swimming at Ohio State and is a member of the US National Diving Team. Intends to major in Computer Science.
