FORT WORTH, Texas - Carson-Newman Director of Sports Performance Johnny Long has been named a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa) in a ceremony at the Omni Fort Worth Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas.
It is the third straight season that Carson-Newman has placed a player on the roster as Brandon Roberts was lauded in 2016 and Paul Kirby earned a spot in 2017. Brandon Burchfield picked up the honor in 2006 and 2007 earning All-American honor each season as did Kirby last year.
