Bio
Prior to Carson-Newman: Spent two seasons at Rowan College and the 2025 season at Wingate.
2025 (Wingate): Hoffman split time as Wingate's catcher last season, starting 20 of his 24 appearances. The New Jersey native posted a .269 batting average in his 24 games, with his only home run coming against Tusculum on Feb. 28. That same game was his best performance of the year, going two for four with a career-high four RBI. Posted five multi-hit and three multi-RBI games. Allowed just three passed balls and caught three runners stealing.
2024 (Rowan College): More than doubled his appearances from his first year, playing in 52 games in his second and final season with Rowan. As one of the best hitters on his team, Hoffman drove in 37 runs with four home runs and posted a .352 batting average. 18 of his 51 hits were extra-base hits. Defensively, he made 82 putouts and only allowed four passed balls.
2023 (Rowan College): Was a .288 hitter in 24 appearances. Six of his 15 hits were for extra bases. Drove in 18 runs and reached base 48 percent of the time.
