Case Roach is in his first season as an assistant coach for the Carson-Newman men's basketball team. 

Roach played basketball at fellow South Atlantic Conference school Anderson in 2024-25 after spending his first four seasons collegiately at North Georgia.

Roach scored 343 points in his basketball career across 88 career games.  He was a member of North Georgia's Elite Eight run in 2023-24. He appeared in 34 games that season for the Nighthawks averaging 3.2 points per game on 43 percent shooting from the field and 36 percent shooting from three.  He averaged 6.2 points and three boards per game as a junior for the Nighthawks. 

Roach was a four-time all-region selection, two-time all-state and two-time all-county honoree at Travelers Rest High School.  A two-time region champion, he was the region player of the year and second all-time in scoring for TRHS. 

The son of Bill and Wendy Roach, his father won a 1-AA national championship in 1988 as a member of the Furman football team.
