2025: Combs started the first five games of the season before being sidelined with an injury.  He made 14 tackles, had a tackle for loss and half a sack. He had a season-high five tackles at Wingate (Sept. 27).  He had his half a sack at Emory & Henry (Oct. 4) before his injury.  

2024: Combs appeared in seven games with five starts as a member of C-N's defensive line.  He had seven tackles in an injury-shortened campaign with a tackle for loss. Combs had a season-best three stops and his tackle for loss at West Virginia State (Sept. 13).  

2023: Did not appear in any games, redshirted. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Combs was a standout player for Chris Fowler at Jackson County High School. He earned eight defensive player of the week awards and was named Outstanding Defensive Lineman. Combs also snagged two 6A all-region honors and an honorable mention all-state accolade as a senior.  He helped Jackson County to the state playoffs as a junior.  

PERSONAL: The son of Mechi Combs and Vic Combs, he plans to major in Exercise Science/Physical Therapy at Carson-Newman.
