2025: Shinault appeared in all 10 games on the offensive line before starting the final six games of the season at tackle.  He was partly responsible for C-N leading the SAC in rushing for a second straight year.  The Eagles averaged 245.7 yards per game on the ground – 10th best nationally.  Furthermore, C-N was tops in the SAC in fewest sacks allowed and seventh nationally (0.8 per game), while ranking fourth in the league in fewest tackles for loss allowed (4.50 per game).  Shinault helped clear the way for eight different players to rush for at least 100 yards on the year. 

2024: Shinnault appeared in seven games with two starts as an offensive tackle and tight end.  He did not register any stats as a tight end. He helped clear the way for Jayden Sullins to rush for 1,200 yards and for the Eagles to lead the SAC in rushing with 265.8 yards per game.  Carson-Newman was fourth nationally in rushing yardage.

2023: Did not appear in any games, redshirted. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Shinault excelled in football, wrestling, and track at Oak Grove High School. He led the conference in sacks with 12 and tackles for loss with 21. He received multiple athletic honors, including being named All-Conference twice and All-Region in 2023. He was also a team captain and helped lead the team to an undefeated conference championship in 2023.

PERSONAL: The son of Charlotte and Robbie Shinault, he plans to major in Business at Carson-Newman. He was an honor roll student in high school and collected a welding certificate upon graduation.  Has a top flight red mullet that is the best in the nation.
