Bio
HIGH SCHOOL: Van Pelt connected on 8-of-11 field goals as a senior, including a school record 50-yarder. He booted touchbacks on 47 of 57 kickoffs as a senior, and set the Eagles single-season record for points scored with 87. He was the Specialist MVP for Region 2-4A as both a junior and senior. He earned All-State honors from both the TNFCA and TSWA as a junior and senior. He was a 2025 Mr. Football Kicker of the Year Finalist.
PERSONAL: The son of Liz and Josh Van Pelt, he plans to study education at Carson-Newman. He was all-honors for all four years of high school.
