Bio
2013-2014: Set the initial school record in the: 100 free (45.35), 200 free (1:39.66) and was a member of four record-setting relay teams: 200 free (21:22.42), 400 free (3:03.38), 800 free (6:55.86) and 400 MR (3:23.67).
Won: 100 and 200 free against Limestone, 50 free and 100 back against Milligan. Winning member of the: 200 free relay against Milligan, 200 free relay in the West Florida Holiday Invitational, the 400 free relay in the Lenior-Rhyne/Catawba tri-meet.
Prior to Carson-Newman: A juco transfer from Daytona State College and native of Auburn, Ala., Parsons was a two-time NJCAA runner-up and captain for DSC. Was his high school's team captain as well.
Personal: Parsons made the dean's list at Daytona State and a member of the National Honor Society in high school, as well as the Spanish Honor Society. The son of Michael and Angela Parsons plans to major in communications.
