Cavalier named national finalist for inaugural FloCollege CSC Spotlight Award

AUSTIN, Texas - Carson-Newman Associate AD for Media Relations/External Operations and the Voice of the Eagles Adam Cavalier is one of 18 national finalists for the inaugural FloCollege CSC Spotlight Award, Flo announced Wednesday afternoon.
The FloCollege CSC Spotlight Award celebrates communicators and CSC staff who go above and beyond to elevate their student-athletes, athletic programs and institutions through strategic storytelling, advocacy and a commitment to excellence. The award highlights individuals who set the standard in the profession by building meaningful relationships, producing impactful content, enhancing broadcast quality, navigating crises with professionalism and championing the achievements of those they serve.
Cavalier is wrapping up his 14th season on the banks of Mossy Creek. During Cavalier's tenure, the Carson-Newman Athletic Communications office has grown by leaps and bounds. The office has produced a mountain of video content that has been viewed by more than 2.4 million people for a watch time north of 10 years.
In 2022, the Carson-Newman Athletic Communications Office was named the SAC's Media Relations Staff of the Year under Cavalier's leadership.
