Bio
2019 (Junior): Once again filled up the stat sheet finishing the year third on the team in kills (331), second in digs (437), first in double-doubles (12) and first in service aces (50)… She led the conference with 50 aces ranking 30th in Division II… The junior ranked seventh in the SAC in kills, eighth in aces per set and ninth in digs… On the season, Oldenburger had 16 double-digit kill efforts, 22 double-digit dig outings with a dozen double-doubles leading the team in kills 11 times… Posted a career-high 23 points against Emmanuel on Sept. 7 with 18 kills, three aces and two blocks adding 22 digs… In a sweep of Catawba in the regular-season finale, she posted a program-record nine service aces besting the prior mark of seven that achieved seven times, most recently by Kristen Pickett at Milligan on Oct. 4, 2012… Tallied 16 kills and 25 digs in a SAC semifinal win over No. 22 Wingate on Nov. 22… Guiding the Eagles in the Southeast Region semifinals, the outside tallied 17 kills and 16 digs in a four-set win over Flagler on Dec. 6.
2018 (Sophomore): After being on the All-Freshman team a year ago, Oldenburger joins teammate Marnie Streeter as the only two Eagles to be on an all-conference team as a sophomore after being one of the top rookies the year prior. The Cedar Rapids, Iowa native has stuffed the stat sheet this season ranking sixth in the SAC with 2.99 kills per set and ninth total smashes with 302, adding 33 aces and 3.54 digs per set. On the year, she produced 17 double-digit kill efforts leading the team 14 times, 20 matches with at least 10 digs and a team-high 14 double-doubles. It is the most double-doubles for an outside hitter since Molly Locke registered 18 over 36 matches in 2015. In a sweep of Emmanuel on Sept. 1, Oldenburger notched a career-high .419 hitting clip pounding out 15 kills in the match. It was one of six outings where she notched at least 10 kills with a .250 attack percentage or better. On Oct. 26 against Catawba, the sophomore had 18 kills, 17 digs and a career-high four service aces while hitting .357.
2017 (Freshman): The rookie played in 31 of the 32 contests in 2017 garnering SAC All-Freshman team honors…Finished second on the team in double-doubles (10) and kills (274)…In a five-set win over Augusta on Oct. 14, Megan Oldenburger pounded out a career-high 21 kills on 99 swings. The Cedar Rapids, Iowa native tallied second-most attacks in SAC history and 11th-highest in a five-set match in Division II history. The league record is 100 set by Brevard’s Fatima Gharachorloo versus Lenoir-Rhyne on Oct. 27, 2015…Overall she racked up 10 double-digit kill efforts and 14 contests with at least 10 digs.
HIGH SCHOOL: Oldenburger comes to Jefferson City after being an honorable mention all-state pick in Iowa in 2016 piling up 316 kills and 219 digs. She had been a first-team all-metro pick as a junior and a second team honoree as a sophomore. She was a member of the National Honor Society, the Honor Roll and Student Council. The Cedar Rapids native also participated in tennis.

ANDERSON, S.C. – On a night where Carson-Newman started sets quickly, Anderson produced the late surges to pull out a sweep of the Eagles, 25-17, 25-19 and 25-22, in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament semifinals Thursday at the Abney Athletic Center.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Looking to repeat as South Atlantic Conference Tournament champions, Carson-Newman used late bursts to control Limestone in a sweep, 25-9, 25-16 and 25-12, in the quarterfinals Tuesday evening at Holt Fieldhouse.
In a match that featured 29 tied scores and 15 lead changes, the Eagles fell to Anderson in a hard-fought battle on Saturday, Apr. 3.
