Bio

2024 (Senior): Played in 27 matches and 105 sets. As the Eagles starting libero, ranked 1st among Eagles players and top 5 in the SAC with 416 digs. Her team leading 3.96 digs/set was good enough for 10th among all SAC liberos. She tallied 23 games played with double-digit digs while racking up 20+ digs in eight of those games. She set a new career high in digs (27) against Mars Hill on Nov. 6. McCombs was steady from the service line ranking 3rd on the team in service aces (29) and in aces/set (0.28).

2023 (Junior): Played in 29 matches, appearing in 99 sets. Served as the team's primary Libero recording a team-high 318 digs. In addition to her 430 receptions, she managed two kills from the backrow, one apiece against USC Aiken on Sept. 9, and Catawba on Sept. 26. Tallied a season high 21 digs aginst Limestone on Nov. 6.

2022 (Sophomore): Played in 22 matches and 51 sets posting 67 digs and 12 service aces... Had tallied six career digs and no more than three in a match before registering 12 in a four-set win at Limestone on Sept. 10.... Logged 11 digs in a four-set win over Tusculum on Oct. 18... Posted a pair of aces in the SAC title match against No. 25 Wingate on Nov. 12.

2021 (Freshman): Saw the court in three matches and eight sets recording five digs... In her collegiate debut, produced three digs at USC Aiken on Sept. 3... Tacked on a pair of scoops against UVA Wise on Sept. 25.

HIGH SCHOOL: McCombs racked up a bevy of career accoloades highlighted by an All-State selection in 2020 after leading the region in digs with 603. On top of that honor, she was a two-time team MVP and two-time all-region honoree. On top of her volleyball prowess, she also played soccer, beach volleyball, basketball and ran track for the Hurricanes. McCombs was a member of the Juniors Honor Society and National Honors Society.

PERSONAL: Her mom, Emilie, played soccer at the College of Charleston and her dad, Will, played football at Air Force.
