2025: Indoor - Began collegiate career placing 11th in the preliminaries of the Finn Pincus Invitational in the 60m sprint with a time of 6.95. Set a new 60m PR at the VMI Invitational with a 6.86 in the event semifinals, he later placed fifth in the finals of the event. Placed second at the VMI Invitational in the 200m in his first time running the event collegiately, set a time of 21.72. Would later finish in third at the Music City Challenge and second at the Virginia Tech Challenge in the 200m. At the SAC Indoor Championships, he came close once again, finishing on the podium in second with a 21.95 dash in the 200m.

Outdoor - Set a PR in his last 100m race at the Lee University Last Chance with a 10.81. At the SAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, he won the 200m dash, as well as both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Along with Rylan Jordan, Ethan Baylock and Taylor Dupler, the four ran a 3:14.10 to win the 4x400. He set a 200m PR in the preliminaries with a time of 20.69, before running a 21.05 in the finals to win the SAC crown. In the 4x100m, he joined forces with Shemar Patten, Amine Kasmi and Dawson Jones to run 39.78, winning the event by a whole second. Ekpekpe advanced to the NCAA Division II Track and Field Outdoor Championships in both the 200m and 4x100m. He ran a 21.72 in the 200m, not advancing past the preliminaries, while the 4x100m team finished fifth in the finals with a 40.03 time.

JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Five members of Kieran Showler-Davis’ track & field team are off to the Division II Outdoor National Championships this week in Emporia, Kansas. Amine Kasmi (Brussels, Belgium), Rylan Jordan (Johnson City, Tenn.), Favour Ekpekpe (Nigeria) and Taylor Madison (Sevierville, Tenn.) are going for the men, with Lovelyne Larrame (Cormeilles-en-Parisis, France) heading for the women.
