Carson-Newman travels to Emory & Henry for SAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Wednesday and Thursday

On the men's side, the Eagles are led by Indoor All-Americans Rylan Jordan and Amine Kasmi. The duo ranks inside the top 4 in both the 100m and 200m in the South Atlantic Conference. Nationally, Jordan is in the top 10 in both, with Kasmi is in the 200m.
Jordan, who placed third in the 60m National Championships and had a silver medal at the SAC Indoor Championships, holds the 10th-fastest 100m time at 10.17 seconds, good for second in the SAC. He is second in the conference in the 200m at 20.67 seconds, eighth in Division II.
Meanwhile, Kasmi edges his sophomore teammate by .01 seconds in the 200m for the No. 1 spot in the conference and seventh fastest nationally.
The pair is also on the 4x100m relay team that holds the third fastest time in the nation, first in the SAC at 39.63 seconds.
Talyor Madison and Favour Ekpekpe round out the foursome. The freshman Madison clocked the fifth-fastest 100m time at 10.46 seconds in the SAC this season. Another freshman, Abiram Pramod sits with the fifth-quickest 400m at 47.76 seconds.
In the 110m hurdles, Verrol Sam, 14.82 seconds, and Torance Brady, 14.84 seconds, are in sixth and seventh, respectively, in the SAC.
In the field events, Cadence Dolgin set the second-highest benchmark in the pole vault at 4.85 meters. While Blayne Jackson and Sam round out the top five in the high jump, in fourth and fifth.
Other notables are Ben Swank in third in javelin at 54.69m, and Carlos Kouassi's fifth-best triple jump at 14.48m.
For the women, Lovelyne Larrame sits inside the top 10 in the SAC for both the 100m and 200m. She clocked a time of 11.99 seconds for sixth in the 100m, and fourth in the 200m at 24.16 seconds. Larrame also holds the fastest time in the SAC, school history and ninth nationally with a 53.80-second time in the 400m.
Axelle Ombelets joins Larrame in the top 10 at seventh in the 200m at 24.68 seconds.
School record holder Lidija Djokic has the seventh-quickest 400m hurdles time in the SAC this season at 1:01.53. While Meiah Moss' 14.86-second time in the 100m hurdles rounds out the top 10.
Moss also enters the Heptathlon with the fourth-highest points total. The freshman finished with 3971 points at the King University Invitational.
In the field events, freshman Katie Edmunds took gold at the SAC Indoor Championships in pole vault and is currently third with 3.52m this season.
Jumper Brooke Taylor is in third for both the long and triple jump. The senior has hit 5.66m in the long jump, while notching 11.90m in the triple jump. Another senior, Kellie Ivens, goes into the high jump at 1.62m, fourth in the SAC.
The Eagles men's team finished second at the SAC Championships during the indoor season, with the women taking sixth.
