Madison Cline led C-N through the first two rounds, sitting in 8th at 8-over after day one. Cline started her day with a birdie before three straight bogeys, but she found her footing with four of the next five holes at par to enter the back nine at 3-over. She had four holes over par on the back nine, but a pair of birdies and three pars helped her finish the round at 6-over.
In round two, Cline shot birdies on two of the first three holes, overcoming a trio of bogeys and adding four pars on the front nine to enter the day's final stretch at 1-over. Despite a late double bogey, Cline carded a birdie and seven pars to finish the round at 2-over and secure a top-ten standing at the end of day one.
Sophomore Emery Fisher is tied for 12th after the first day of action at 11-over. Despite a pair of bogeys on the front nine in round one, Fisher carded a birdie and six pars to enter the back nine at 1-over. The sophomore added a handful of strokes on five bogeys on the back nine but limited the damage with four pars to finish the round at 6-over.
Fisher carded four bogeys on the front nine in round two, but a birdie and four pars sent her to the final stretch at 3-over. On the back nine, Fisher limited the damage of a trio of bogeys with a birdie and five pars, finishing the round at 5-over.
Ida Petersen sits right behind Fisher, tied for 19th at 12-over. Petersen carded five holes over par in round one, but a stretch of four straight pars helped send her to the back nine at 6-over. She had four more holes over par on the back nine, but four pars and a birdie cut into her tally to finish the round at 11-over.
Petersen delivered a much improved second round, carding a trio of birdies on the front nine to limit the damage of three holes over par to enter the back nine at 1-over. The junior carded all nine holes at par on the day's final stretch to finish the round at 1-over.
Anaelle Picot follows Petersen in close succession, finishing the day in 23rd at 13-over. Picot started the day with a birdie and six pars to limit the damage of two bogeys, entering the back nine at 1-over. She carded four bogeys on the back nine, but a birdie and four pars helped her finish the round at a team-best 4-over.
Picot's second-round front nine featured a pair of double bogeys and two other holes over par, but she stroked a birdie and four pars to enter the final stretch at 5-over. Picot had a trio of holes over par on the back nine, but six pars helped her end the round at 9-over.
Sydney Thomas rounds out the Eagles on day one, tied for 38th at 18-over. She carded four holes over par on the front nine in round one, but five pars sent her to the back nine at 8-over. Despite four bogeys on the back nine, a late birdie and four pars helped limit the damage and finish her round at 11-over.
Thomas shot five bogeys in round two but carded four pars to enter the final stretch at five-over. She was consistent on the back nine, carding seven of her nine holes at par, adding only a pair of strokes to end the round at 7-over.
The Eagles sit seven strokes behind No. 5 East Florida State and No. 3 SCAD Savannah entering the final round.
