Ingram adds Shreve, Brown to coaching staff as graduate assistants
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman head football coach Ashley Ingram has announced the hirings of Brandon Brown and Deuce Shreve to be the program’s next two graduate assistant coaches.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. – Carson-Newman head football coach Ashley Ingram has announced the hirings of Brandon Brown and Deuce Shreve to be the program's next two graduate assistant coaches.
Brown will work with Carson-Newman's defense, while Shreve will work with the offense.
Brown played collegiately for Central Michigan from 2017-20.
He appeared in 28 career games with four starts en route to amassing 27 career tackles. He produced 10 pass breakups in his career and returned his first career interception 33 yards against Bowling Green.
He played in 2016 at the Canada Prep Football Academy. He was an All-Western New York Second Team and Class C selection in 2015 at Bennett High School in Buffalo, N.Y. Brown averaged more than 20 yards per catch as a wide receiver at Bennett.
Shreve is a product of Powell High School before taking to the gridiron collegiately at Campbellsville.
A former quarterback, Shreve was an Academic All-Mid-South Conference selection for the Tigers. He played in 17 career games for Campbellsville.
Shreve has spent the last two football seasons as a coach at The King's Academy.
