15 Eagles Softball student-athletes collect Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Carson-Newman softball had 15 student-athletes named to the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete list for their academic accomplishments during the 2024-25 school year.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Carson-Newman softball had 15 student-athletes named to the Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete list for their academic accomplishments during the 2024-25 school year.
The team overall placed as the 70th best team GPA in NCAA Division II, carrying a 3.56 GPA.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division III led the way with 2,565 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2024-25. NCAA Division I followed with 2,544 and NCAA Division II with 2,179.
Nine of the 15 players have previously received the distinction. SieAnna Cameron, Ally Goodwin, Lexi Lacy and Riley Sikes notched their second list. Macauley Bailey, Abbi Martin, and Kennady Warder picked up their third honor. Finally, Mari Robbins and Syerra Rogers were named All-America Scholar-Athletes for the fourth time.
To qualify for the award, students must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. The full list of honorees is below.
